My name is Katarina Edwards and I am the chef and owner of Mise en Class. I am a Red Seal chef and I have more than a decade of experience working in fine dining restaurants and have also worked in a local butcher shop. I grew up on a family farm where we raised animals and grew gardens. Being surrounded by an abundance of fresh vegetables, milk, eggs and raising animals made me fall in love with cooking. Learning the importance of where our food comes from, and how it connects to making a delicious meal is something I would love to share with you.

Mise en Class was established in 2021 with the goal of making memories through personal connections, and interactive lessons that build confidence and creativity in the kitchen.
